Poona Hospital and Research Centre (PHRC) was established in 1985 through the collective efforts of the Rajasthani and Gujarati communities, who had settled in Pune decades earlier. Guided by values of service and compassion, their initiative resulted in the creation of a 300-bed multispecialty hospital, centrally located and known for its expert doctors, caring staff, and modern facilities. For over 40 years, PHRC has been a trusted name in healthcare in Pune.
To build on this legacy and further the vision of accessible, advanced healthcare and education, PHRC Lifespace Organization was founded in 2014 as a separate initiative. Its focus is on developing new-age healthcare and educational infrastructure that meets today's growing needs. The organization is currently developing PHRC Health City in Undri, Pune.
This integrated campus will bring together world-class healthcare services, state-of-the-art educational institutions, and a dedicated Research & Development (R&D) center. The R&D center will focus on encouraging innovation and supporting breakthrough research that can improve healthcare delivery for future generations.
